SUMMARY:Anthropology and Ethnography: A talk by Anthropologists
DESCRIPTION:Join us and our three speakers at Kixott this Friday evening in our first edition of talks devoted to the various aspects that make up anthropology. This time\, we will host a discussion about what it means to be an anthropologist in the field today\, with our guests outlining their experiences\, focusing on ethnographic techniques- which are the backbone to all anthropological works. \nDiscussion will be led by: \nProf. Jean Paul Baldacchino\nSenior Lecturer\, Department of Anthropological Sciences at the University of Malta \nDr. Ibtisam Sadegh\nLawyer and resident lecturer in the Civil Law Department at the University of Malta. \nDr. Rachel Radmilli\nFaculty member at the Department of Management (FEMA) and the Mediterranean Foodways Platform (Med.Institute) at the University of Malta. \nWhether you’re a first-year student just delving into the roots of what anthropology entails\, or whether you’re someone who has conducted their own anthropological fieldwork before\, this talk is great for anyone interested in the social sciences! \nThe event will be open to fully vaccinated patrons only.
