Before this kind of stuff was melted into the mainstream pot and forged into the likes of Disney’s ‘Frozen’\, it was a sharp tonic of cheeky subversion\, and it’s very much on display in its undiluted form here.\n \nCo-written with Carter and its director Neil Jordan (who would go on to make Interview with the Vampire) and starring the likes of Stephen Rea\, David Warner and Angela Lansbury (Murder\, She Wrote)\, The Company of Wolves is a playful and ornate gothic fairytale – by turns dark and gorgeous\, disturbing and playful.\n \nCome indulge in this heady oddity over at Kixott!\n\n  \n  \n\n
