After all, while a gratuitous zero-gravity striptease performed by the legendary Jane Fonda may not halt the nuclear apocalypse or imminent ecological collapse, neither did it ever do anyone any harm.

Following our screening of the Wachowski’s red-hot queer noir debut Bound, we will continue to shameless ride the wave of high-level horniness back in time but forward into space, regaling you with another Dino De Laurentiis cult classic – Roger Vadim’s beloved adaptation of Jean Claude Forest’s comic book series, first released in 1968 and unsurpassed since (though many have tried).

Grab a drink (or three) and get ready to forget to take anything seriously over a couple of hours. Barbarella is on a serious mission, but she is not here to judge.
