Kixott Movie Nights: Bound

Before the Wachowski siblings made The Matrix, they straight up gave the world an immersive and convincing queer neo-noir thriller which we thought was impossibly cooked up by two straight men (only for that assumption to be blown to smithereens).

Total legends Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon slip snugly and sexily into familiar crime thriller roles and take us on a ride that offers all the traditional, sleazy & steamy, pleasures of the genre but with an added crucial twist.

If there ever was a film to benefit from being shown at the coolest cocktail bar in town, this is it. And Kixott is, of course that bar… and always will be
